FACILITIES SUBCOMMITTEE
BY-LAWS
CHARLESTON COUNTY LOCAL
EMERGENCY PLANNING COMMITTEE
Sub-Committee Objectives:
1. Recruit
Members of Industry for the committee so as to maintain a
balance between industry users and Public Safety Responders.
2. Maintain
a current point of contact (POC) list of facility
coordinators of all companies reporting under SARA Title
III. Contact list will include work and after hours phone
numbers.
3.
POC list
will be updated at least quarterly and provided to
Charleston County Emergency Prepardness Division and
Hazardous Materials Division.
4. Review
and advise the full committee (LEPC) on the annual Budget as
presented by the Fire Chiefs Association and Planning
Committee.
5. Solicit
industry for interest in hosting the annual HAZMEXT
exercise.
